CARTVERIO includes scoped REST API and MCP access for agencies and approved integration workflows. Both are built around least-privilege access: a credential receives only the permissions required for its workflow.
REST API capabilities
- List accessible projects and read project details
- Read measurement history and the latest evidence

MCP for compatible AI applications
CARTVERIO also exposes a remote Model Context Protocol endpoint using the current stateless Streamable HTTP model. MCP tools can read projects, measurements, site audits, opportunities, content briefs, brand-perception evidence and AI-agent traffic. Measurement triggering is exposed only to keys with the write scope.
Scoped API keys
API credentials are stored as cryptographic hashes. The raw token is shown only when it is created. Keys can be revoked, and CARTVERIO records their last use. Supported scopes currently include read access to projects and measurements plus an optional measurement-write scope.
Agency and report workflows
CARTVERIO supports multiple projects, an agency identity layer, secure shareable report links with expiry and revocation, white-label report presentation, CSV export and controlled integration access.
What the API does not change
API or MCP access does not turn unavailable provider evidence into a result. The same CARTVERIO methodology applies whether a measurement is viewed in the portal, a report or an integration: completed evidence is measured, unavailable evidence is disclosed, and OpenAI API results are not described as identical to the consumer ChatGPT application.
Availability
API and MCP access are being provisioned selectively while the platform is in its early stage. Agencies or businesses that need an integration can contact CARTVERIO with the workflow and the minimum permissions required.
